It is a very Nice app. I just would like to make a few adjustments like reseting the values when clicking on values, specially on the odometer field at maintenance screen
I downloaded the small app and it is really great and easy to use. Even if I am from Germany and can not use Gallons and USD. I am looking forward for the next update with metric units and other currencies. Karl promised me another update with date entry feature within the next weeks. Now I can finally skip the usage of my old PDA with Excel. [Edit August 11, 2008] I installed both updates (1.05, 1.10) and I was able to use the first update during vacation where I need to refuel my car quiet often and it is really easy to work with. I had not much possibilities to test 1.10 but it seems to be stable and the German translations (even if not complete) are OK. The only thing which is not working is the E-Mail send feature. I use the latest firmware 2.0.1. for my iPhone but even a reset doesnt change anything. But it is not so important for me. I will test the date entry function with past gas fills and service costs soon.
I had a similar tool, running on Windows Mobile. I have searched a long time, to get an appropriate replacement. Car Care is perfect. The import function saves a lot of work to get historical data into the software. The compatbility with Euro and L (since version 1.10) makes it also possible to use it in Germany (or any other European country) without any drawbacks. It is worth every Cent!
Great app. Tracks every thing you need. Can mix miles and liters for those who have US speedos. Would like it to be able to edit vehicle name, as you can only use the makes and models they have. Cant get a Harley on it.
Works good, I like that it calculates mpg/kpl. Id suggest they add a few more options to add if u want to track services etc.
I like using the app, text entry is simple at the gas station and the charts are interesting and useful. But, app needs an update with a more complete model listing. No Infiniti EX35 or G37? Other fairly common cars missing too.

Some bad moments

Reading reviews and looking at images I went ahead an bought this app. But once I started using the app, it kept crashing. Screen would turn black every time I hit save or waiting for it to refresh. Please fix this bug
So annoying. After the v1.45 update, the location service icon is always on. I had to turn the location option off from the location settings.
This app is probably fine if you are the only person who fills up your vehicles. However, if you share a vehicle with your spouse or someone else, theres no way to automatically sync data between phones. You have to do it via a cumbersome browser based system, which is far from convenient, so your data will usually be out of date. The developer said he was planning to implement a cloud-based solution for this problem (that would be available after iOS 5 came out - no, thats not a typo), but has apparently decided this app is "not a big money maker" for him so he isnt going to bother. So I wouldnt bother buying this app if I were you.
It cant remember any car info, just the photo and some of the gas / mileage inputs. I thought it was handy, but not reliable for a strong database. Deception. This problem is there since 2008 as it is describe by users on their support forum.
No updates since July 2012? Fix the bugs. Cant remember if I paid for this app. If I did I certainly regret it.
Like the title says, very handy app to track the fuel economy unless you have a diesel vehicle. It doesnt but should have a diesel fuel option. Now I remember why I stopped using this app years ago because, after an update a few years ago, they deleted that option and all my vehicles are diesel.
